Yo-yo Loach (Botia almorhae)

The Yo-yo Loach is a medium sized species of loach named for the pattern on its side that somewhat resembles the word "Yoyo". This loach usually grows around 4" on average and is a social species that does well with members of its own kind. Due to their larger size they may not be ideal tank mates with small or slow fish. It is also common for them to lay on their side and "play dead".
