Pajama Cardinalfish (Sphaeramia nematoptera)

Pajama Cardinalfish are an unusually patterned fish that resembles a child's drawing. They are primarily nocturnal predators that will patrol the area at night to hunt anything small enough to fit in their surprisingly large mouths. They are reef safe and not large enough to pose a threat to anything larger than fish fry.
