Electric Blue Acara (Aequidens pulcher)

The Electric Blue Acara is a medium sized species of South American cichlid, they grow to about 6" long and can live for around 10 years though longer is possible. These fish tend to be rather peaceful with tank mates despite being a medium sized cichlid and can often be combined with small community fish so long as there isn't too large a size difference.
