Lemondrop Bristlenose Pleco (Ancistrus Sp.)

The Bristlenose pleco is a medium sized pleco that is rather common to the aquarium trade. The name comes from the bristly fringe that grows on their face as they age, with it being more prominent in males. Maxing out at around 5-6" they are an excellent size for larger home aquariums, being large enough to not be eaten by other tank mates, but not growing to the colossal size of the common pleco.
